Review: Sexy Look Blackhead Pore Cleanser Set

Hi all,

I was browsing through Qoo10 and happened to saw Sexy Look Blackhead Pore Cleanser Set was on sales at only $9.90 with the original price at $24.90

It's a highly raved products by 女人我最大 and Xiaxue as seen below.

Troubled by years of Blackheads problem I decided to give it a try. This product comes in a cute pink packaging and somehow I can already smell the sweet strawberry scent upon opening the box.

In the box contains 1 x Deep Sebum Softener; 1 x Sebum Purifying Mask and 1 x Pore Treatment Essence.

At the back of the box you can find a detailed description on purpose of each and every item in the box as well as instructions on how to use them.

Step by step guide as below:

Step 1: Deep Sebum Softener (Number 1)
Gently apply and massage the softener onto the black/white head areas for 2 - 3 minutes. At this step you can choose to either apply it on a cotton pad or use your fingers. (Either way is fine) Then wash off with lukewarm water instead of cold water to expand your pore for better extraction effect. Pat Dry.
* This Softener is very watery and runny so please remember to squeeze the bottle lightly will do.

Step 2: Sebum Purifying Mask (Number 2)
Apply generous and even coat of the mask onto the black/white head areas. Wait 20 - 30 minutes or till it's completely dry then peel off in one downwards motion. Wash or wipe off the excess mask.
* This mask smells super sweet and reminds me of strawberry jam! Love it!

Step 3: Pore Treatment Essence (Number 3)
Pat on the Essense onto areas that the mask has been applied on. This is to contract the pores and to smoothen the area.
* This essense is also very watery so please remember to squeeze the bottle lightly will do.

Overall Review

Packaging: ☆
Cute and simple packaging that comes with easy to follow instructions. The whole packaging smells like strawberry plus there's a cute smiling Strawberry on the front.

Effectiveness:
It does exactly what it's supposed to. The blackheads is extracted almost painlessly as compared to the pore packs or mud packs. Skin feels smoother and Pore seems visibly smaller after use. I realise this is good in removing fine facial hair as well. :)

Minus one star as I have to say it is a time consuming and messy to use. The whole process took me 30 minutes to finish instead of a quick 10 minutes when I used the pore strip.

Price:
I got it at $9.90 instead of $24.90 so I have to say it's definitely worth every cent! ☆ if its priced at $24.90.

If you have any enquiries about the product please feel free to contact me at the cBox at the side.

Handicrafts

Hi all,

Recently I found some cute handicrafts kits at Daiso and can't wait to share with fellow handicraft lovers! This can be found at all Daiso store and can be done within 1 hour. Best of all, this handicraft doesn't require knitting or sewing skills. This can be found at the handicraft section in Daiso. It comes in 5 animal designs - Elephant, Tiger, Pig, Bear and Frog (which is not captured in the picture)

Oh, do note that I did not follow the exact instructions given, due to some amendments, I was able to make 2 Tigers instead of one!

In the kit would contain the wool, needle, wools, eyes, chain, beads and instructions to needle felting.

To start off, separate the wools to the following proportions:
1 big - Head for the big tiger
2 medium - Body for the big tiger and Head for the tiny tiger
7 small - 4 Ears for both tiger, front paws and tail for the big tiger

After which, you just need to roll up the wools as tightly as possible and then starting poking the rounded wool in all directions with the needle provided. (Patience my friend, this part is the tedious part)
You may want to be focus at this part, I poked myself with the needle least 7 times as I was watching TV while doing so. OUCH!

Roll into a tight ball

The wools will start to tighten up within 5-10 minutes of needle felting.

End result of needle felting

Eventually, you will end up with several balls of different sizes. Now all you need to do is to connect the parts to form the animal. One again, you do so by placing the part next to each other and start poking~

The end result is a very adorable puny little tiger!

Made Elelphant and Bunny as well.

Hopefully I will have more happy things to share on my next post!

Ciaos!
